New editions from Worthy Park, the Special Cask Series are vintages enhanced by second maturations in barrels of different origins. For the first time, both breeding operations are carried out in a tropical climate.
This 10-year-old Worthy Park, 100% pot-still, was aged for 8 years in ex-Bourbon barrels before maturing for an additional 2 years in ex-Madeira barrels. A great rum full of contrasts, both fresh and warm, with notes of fresh and jammy fruits, enhanced by very present esters which demonstrate the know-how of the distillery in maturing rums.
