This small batch release distilled in April 2012 and then matured in Sauternes dessert wine casks for 12 years before bottling at 48.2% ABV (with no chill-filtration or added colouring) in June of 2024. While such long maturation in Sauternes casks is rare, it results in a rich whisky packed with flavours of tropical fruit and dried apricots.
