The Christian Drouin Experimental Range explores major rum origins (Jamaica, Barbados, Martinique, Trinidad & Tobago) before expanding to Réunion Island and the Savanna distillery. In operation since 1870, Savanna produces characterful rums: high-ester, agricole, and traditional styles. For this edition, casks that previously held traditional rums aged 9 to 14 years were selected, aiming for a precise and elegant expression.
 
Product Presentation
Starting point: a 17-year-old Calvados Pays d’Auge, rich and powerful, marked by roasted apple. It underwent a 6- to 9-month finishing period in ex-Savanna rum casks, adding an exotic and spicy dimension without masking the terroir. Bottled at 47.5% ABV, this cuvée is intended for lovers of fine spirits, rum finishes, cask ageing, and bold blends.
