This single malt has been aged for nine and a half years in a Palo Cortado cask, a fortified wine from Andalusia.
 
Taste & Aroma: Powerful, fruity, and lush. Aromas of honey and candied melon give way to balsamic notes, roasted hazelnuts, and vanilla. The taste has a lively start of fresh fruit such as melon, followed by a delicious sweetness with notes of sour candy, honey, licorice, and bitter orange.
The finish is slightly dry, with dried fruit (dried apricot) and a hint of smokiness.
