This bottling is part of The Whisky Trail series from Elixir Distillers, selected by Sukhinder Singh, and represents a rare and exclusive expression from Chichibu Distillery in Japan – a distillery that, since its start in 2008, has established itself as a pioneer and innovator in modern Japanese whisky.
Chichibu was the first new Japanese distillery since 1973, founded by Ichiro Akuto.

As a small-scale producer, the distillery has an annual capacity of only about 90,000 liters.
All work is carried out with a uncompromising “hands-on” approach, including its own cooperage, ensuring full control over quality and maturation.

The high strength delivers intensity and depth, yet retains the finesse for which Chichibu is renowned.
